Betria

Jenoptik Gryphax Betria, the perfect introduction to monochrome cameras. Featuring a 1/1.75” sensor and a pixel size of 3.7 microns. This camera is perfect for academia and introducing students to the world of fluorescence imaging.

Full Description

Jenoptik Betria provides students with a dedicated monochrome camera for performing fluorescence imaging without an excessive price tag.

Although it may be cheaper, with Jenoptik’s high quality cameras these monochrome cameras provide the correct hardware and specifications for most requirements in imaging.

Jenoptik Betria features 2 capture resolutions, perfect for documenting fluorescence work:

  • 1000 x 750 (0.75 megapixels @ 20 fps)

  • 2000 x 1500 (3 megapixels @ 20 fps)

Larger resolutions allow students to see data blown up on larger screens such as projectors and bigger monitors. This will help clarify areas in which they should look before entering, lower resolution, higher sensitivity cameras. These cameras provide the perfect stepping stone from the traditional, colour microscope cameras to the more advanced monochrome fluorescence cameras.

Benefits

  • 1/1.75 inch back illuminated CMOS sensor with 3.7-micron pixel sizes, for a cost-effective fluorescence camera.

  • Perfect for academia and lab work.

  • Flexible C-Mount interface.

  • USB 3.0 for control with Mac, Linux and Windows.

  • 3 Megapixel still shots.

Categories: Monochrome Microscope Camera, Jenoptik Microscope Cameras

Interface

Jenoptik cameras come in a tough aluminium frame, this case is solid unlike other cameras and can help increase the longevity of the camera. With a photocoupler trigger out for non-interference output for TTL signals.

Each camera has the same case and appearance, with a common C-Mount adapter to connect. Each camera uses a high throughput USB 3.0 interface, this ensures both flexibility and interface longevity.
