Summary of Jenoptik Polaris
Full Description
Jenoptik Gryphax Polaris, the highest quality monochrome fluorescence camera. With a highly sensitive, square format, 1/1.2” Sony sensor this chip can produce 23 fps even at higher resolutions. The Polaris’ quantum efficiency at 532nm is a respectable 0.73 QE.
Built with flexibility in mind the Polaris allows for varying resolutions featuring:
900 x 900 (0.81 megapixels @ 23fps)
1200 x 1200 (1.41 megapixels @ 23fps)
1800 x 1800 (3.24 megapixels @ 23fps)
The Jenoptik Polaris features large pixel dimensions making it optimal for low light conditions. At 7.2 microns the pixel size of the Polaris is perfect for modern fluorescence applications.
Summary
1/1.2 inch monochrome Sony back illuminated CMOS sensor.

Interface
Jenoptik cameras come in a tough aluminium frame, this case is solid unlike other cameras and can help increase the longevity of the camera. With a photocoupler trigger out for non-interference output for TTL signals.
Each camera has the same case and appearance, with a common C-Mount adapter to connect. Each camera uses a high throughput USB 3.0 interface, this ensures both flexibility and interface longevity.
